Terms of service

1. The service

Sageon Performance Coaching (“Sageon”) is a coaching platform: coaches use it to run their coaching business, and clients use it to receive training programmes, nutrition guidance and support from their coach. By creating an account you accept these terms.

2. Accounts

You must give accurate details and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time from Account → Delete account; deletion is permanent and removes your data as described in the privacy policy.

3. Coach subscriptions

Coaches subscribe to a monthly or annual plan with a client limit. New coaches receive a 7-day free trial; a payment card is required to start it and billing begins automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel first. Plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can change plan, update your card or cancel any time via Billing → Manage billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Prices are shown at checkout; we may change prices with notice ahead of your next renewal.

4. Client coaching packages

Clients pay their coach for coaching on the terms (price, billing period and commitment) presented when they subscribe. The commitment matches the payment term. The coaching relationship - programming, advice and results - is between the client and their coach.

5. Health disclaimer

Sageon provides fitness and nutrition tools, not medical advice. Exercise carries risk: consult a doctor before starting a programme, especially if you have a medical condition, and stop and seek help if you feel unwell. Nutritional values - including AI estimates from food photos - are estimates, not a substitute for professional dietary advice.

6. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the service: no unlawful content, no harassment, no attempting to access other users’ data, no reverse engineering or disrupting the platform. Content you upload (photos, videos, messages, programmes) remains yours; you grant us the licence needed to store and display it to the people you share it with in the app. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

7. Liability

We provide the service with reasonable skill and care but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

8. Ending the service

We may withdraw or materially change the service with reasonable notice. If we end your paid plan early we will refund the unused portion.

9. General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Questions: blake@sageon.co.uk.
